The feeding guide is an indication only as the nutritional requirement of individual puppies varies according to breed, sex, activity level etc. It is recommended to feed freely 3 to 5 times a day. It is recommended to soak the pellets in luke warm water to small puppies before serving. Remove leftovers after 20 minutes and discard.
Weaned puppies: Until 3 months of age puppies should be fed freely 5 times a day. From the age of 3 months (for large dog bree4ds about 6 months), the puppies should be fed 3-5 times a day depending on appetite and growth. From 6 months of ag e for small breed puppies and 9 months of age for large breed puppies, 2-3 meals a day is recommended.
Junior stage: Starts 1-2 weeks after the pubby's growth rate has started to decline. From this stage, it is recommended to feed ½ amount of puppy food and ½ amount of adult food in 1 or 2 daily measured meals. Your puppy is fully grown for small/medium breeds when they are approx. 8-12 months old and for large breeds when they are approx. 15-24 months old.
Pregnant and lactating/nursing bitches: Should be fed freely 3-5 times a day during the last 2 weeks of gestation and during the entire lactation.
Ensure that a bowl of fresh water is always available.
